Biku Bali

Biku Bali is a restaurant, tea lounge, home-wares shop and book store in Petitenget, Kerobokan, Bali. It is set in the homey surrounds of a 150-year-old teak joglo from East Java, located at Jl. Taman Ganesha, Gg. Bina no. 888.

Food and drink

Biku serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with classic Indonesian cooking alongside flavours from around the world. The kitchen offers café-style breakfasts, healthy lunches, hearty dinners, desserts, juices, smoothies, traditional drinks, coffee, beer, wine and cocktails. Breakfast is served all day, and there is also a children’s menu with colouring-in and toys while children wait.

High tea and cakes

Tea is a main focus here. The tea list has more than 50 varieties from China, India and Indonesia, selected by tea master Tjok Gde Kerthyasa. High tea is served daily from 11:00 to 18:00, with traditional, Asian and breakfast versions, plus a children’s high tea. Cakes are a regular feature, with items such as carrot cake and cupcakes baked fresh daily.

Shop and opening hours

The gift shop is spread around the joglo and includes Indonesian-accented books, home-wares, jewellery and antiques sourced from local artisans. Biku operates with opening hours from Monday to Sunday, 9:00 to 22:00.
