Nunggalan Beach

Nunggalan Beach is a long beach on the southern coast of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, in Pecatu, South Kuta. The shore is reached from the cliff top by a steep path with uneven ground and stone steps.

What you find there

The beach has a long sandy shoreline, coastal cliffs and a colorful shipwreck on the sand. The surrounding coast is part of the open southern peninsula, with views across the sea and a landscape of limestone slopes.

Access

Travel guides describe a descent of about twenty minutes from the cliff top and a return climb of about thirty minutes. The route is largely unpaved and follows uneven terrain down to the shore.

The published address is Jalan Batu Nunggalan, Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung, Bali. There are limited facilities on the beach. Visitors should plan for the steep return route and check tide, swell and weather before entering the water.
