Amor Fati Tattoo & Piercing Studio Uluwatu

Amor Fati Uluwatu is the second studio of the Amor Fati group, whose first studio opened in Canggu in 2017. The Uluwatu room is on Jl. Pantai Bingin in Pecatu, beside Bambu Fitness and between Padang Padang and the Uluwatu temple turn-off, with parking in front.

Artists and styles

Joe FineLine, Georgiy Marshalov, Valerian, Elvano Pratama and Carmen tattoo in this room, while Ricki and Agus work on piercing. Fine line is the most requested style: single-weight linework used for script, small florals and ornamental pieces. Realism and micro-realism are also done and call for a longer sitting, with the drawing revised before the machine comes out. The portfolio also covers conceptual, floral, pets and animals, lettering, traditional and Balinese motifs, and every tattoo comes with a free touch-up.

Booking, prices and walk-ins

Walk-ins are taken when a chair is free, but in high season the day fills early, so a message first is advised. Custom work is drawn before it is tattooed and is never a walk-in. Each design gets one quote, agreed before work starts and priced per design rather than per hour, at the same level as the Canggu and Seminyak studios. A deposit holds the slot and is deducted from the final price. The usual minimum is around IDR 750,000, and payment is by cash in IDR, card or bank transfer.

Hygiene and piercing

Single-use needles are used for tattoos and piercings, a piercing gun is never used, and fresh piercings are fitted with implant-grade titanium. Piercing runs all day and is usually done the same day.
