Berawa Beach

Berawa Beach is a coastal beach in the Berawa area of southwest Bali. It lies between the beaches of Seminyak and Canggu and faces the Indian Ocean across a broad stretch of dark volcanic sand and reef.

The beach includes sandy shore, reef areas, coastal access roads and views along the open coastline. Small paths and beach businesses connect the shore with Berawa and Kerobokan, while the beach environment changes with the tides.

Coastal setting

Berawa forms part of the continuous southwest coast of Badung. The reef and surf conditions are linked with the neighbouring beaches, while the inland area has developed into a mixed residential, hospitality and dining district.
