Balangan Beach

Balangan Beach is a sandy beach on the western side of the Bukit Peninsula in the Jimbaran area of southern Bali. The coast is bordered by pale limestone cliffs and opens toward the Indian Ocean.

The beach includes a long sandy shoreline, reef areas, cliff viewpoints and a coastal road above the sand. The surrounding headland is used for views across the ocean, while the beach is connected with the surfing geography of the Bukit coast.

Setting

Balangan is one of several beaches located along the western coast of the peninsula. The reef, cliffs and changing tides shape the beach environment and its access points.
