Profile
RSUD Buleleng was founded in 1955 on Jalan Veteran in Singaraja as both an army hospital and a general hospital. It moved to Jl. Ngurah Rai No. 30 in 1959 and became a Class C hospital under the Ministry of Health. It became a swadana unit in 2003 and a BLUD, a public service agency, in 2009. A 1997 decree set it as a Type B non-teaching hospital, and it is also Type B in the 2024 JKN category.
Teaching role and accreditation
In 2017 it became a satellite teaching hospital for the medical faculty of Universitas Udayana, and in 2022 the main teaching hospital for the medical faculty of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. It received the highest, Paripurna, accreditation result in 2023.
Emergency unit and registration
A Dokter Jaga system sets the on-duty doctor schedule of the IGD. Clinic registration is at the desk, through the MJKN app for BPJS Kesehatan members, or through the hospital's online portal. Bed availability is shown online.
