Emergency department

The hospital page for the Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) says it is open 24 hours and needs no appointment. Doctors, nurses, specialists and subspecialists are described as trained and certified in emergency care. Triage starts on arrival: a quick check of general condition and vital signs sets the priority. Red means immediate treatment in the resuscitation room, yellow means the treatment room, green means outpatient care or discharge if stable, and black means the patient has died and is moved to the morgue room.

Rooms and equipment

The IGD lists a triage room, a negative-pressure isolation room, a PONEK room for emergency obstetric and neonatal care, a resuscitation room, an operating room, a decontamination room and a transit room. Laboratory, radiology and pharmacy are integrated. Equipment includes CPR equipment, ECG, a defibrillator, a transport incubator, vital sign monitors, infusion pumps and a ventilator.
