Sari Api Ceramics Studio is an open-air studio located on Suweta Street in the village of Bentuyung, which sits 3 km north of Ubud's main road in Bali. Founded by Suzan Kohlik in 1996, it became the first professional ceramic studio in Ubud. The studio welcomes visitors interested in pottery and ceramic arts in a natural, open-air setting just outside the center of Ubud.
Studio Facilities and Classes
The studio space features plenty of workspace and is equipped with seven electric wheels and a large gas-fired kiln. Sari Api offers a selection of specific classes and courses designed for people who want to learn ceramic techniques. In addition to instructional classes, the location provides open studio time for experienced artists who are residing in Bali for a period of time.
