Nungnung Waterfall

Nungnung Waterfall is a tall river waterfall in the highlands of Badung, north of Denpasar and within the wider Bedugul area. The cascade drops through a forested gorge surrounded by steep green slopes.

What you find there

Visitors reach the waterfall by descending a long stairway through tropical vegetation. The lower area contains the main cascade, a rocky river channel and viewpoints where the height of the falls can be seen from below.

Natural setting

The waterfall is fed by streams from Bali’s central highlands. Water flow varies with rainfall, while the gorge and dense vegetation create the enclosed setting described by public tourism and map sources.

Visiting

The route includes many stairs and wet or uneven ground near the river. Visitors should follow local signs and take care on the descent and return route. Public sources locate Nungnung in Belok/Sidan, Petang, Badung, Bali.
