Handara Gate

Handara Gate is a Balinese-style split gateway in the Pancasari area of the Bedugul highlands. The gate stands at the entrance to the Handara resort and golf area and frames the surrounding mountain landscape.

What you find there

Visitors find the tall carved gateway, a paved approach, landscaped grounds and views toward the highland vegetation. The two stone towers and central opening form the main architectural subject, while the road and hills provide the wider setting.

Cultural setting

The gate uses the candi bentar form found in Balinese temple and palace architecture. It is a contemporary gateway rather than an ancient temple, but its design draws on established Balinese architectural traditions.

Visiting

The gateway is located near the road through Pancasari and is associated with the Handara property. Visitors should follow current site access instructions and respect property boundaries when taking photographs.
