Yan Tino Tattoo is a tattoo studio in Ubud with two locations, the first on Jl. Raya Sanggingan in Kedewatan and the second on Jl. Dewi Sita. Both are open every day from 09:00 to 21:00. The resident artists are Yan Tino and Yan Kwit, supported by assistants.
Styles
Work covers black and grey, color, realistic pieces, free-hand and free-line custom designs and cover-ups of old tattoos. Pieces in the gallery include geometric, watercolor, tribal, mandala and 3D realistic designs. Clients can choose from a large selection of designs or bring their own idea.
Hygiene and facilities
A new needle is opened for every client and artists wear new surgical gloves. Equipment is sterilized in a hospital-grade autoclave, and the studio holds a health department licence and aims to match Australian tattoo industry standards. New ink is used for each client, from brands such as Eternal and Intenze. The studio is air-conditioned, has free wifi, music and movies, offers free pick-up for clients and can arrange privacy on request.
