Uluwatu Surf Villas

Uluwatu Surf Villas, on the clifftop above Uluwatu in south Bali, sits directly above one of the areas famous left-hand surf breaks. The wave is a private staircase away and the property faces the Indian Ocean.

What you find there

Cliff-front villas are built from reclaimed teak and many have private saltwater pools. Mana is the on-site restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. A yoga studio offers daily classes with ocean glimpses. The property also hosts weddings, retreats and workshops.

Surf, skate and boat

Surf access is immediate via the private steps down to world-class left-hand waves. The on-site skatepark features a two-tone concrete bowl with shallow and vert-deepened sections plus a spine, hips, roll-overs and extensions. Boat charters operate from the property aboard a 33-metre Phinisi named Pagi Bumi, hand-built from ironwood and teak, with three air-conditioned cabins and a rooftop deck.

Local connections and services

Most staff grew up in Pecatu village. On the full moon staff will dress guests in a sarong and sash, drive them to Pura Luhur Uluwatu and show how to pray.
