Pandawa Beach

Pandawa Beach is a sandy beach below the limestone cliffs of Kutuh on the southern Bukit Peninsula. The coast faces the Indian Ocean and is reached through a road cut into the pale cliff landscape.

What you find there

Visitors find a broad sandy shore, reef-protected sections, coastal water and high limestone walls. Large carved figures associated with the Pandawa story stand along the approach road, linking the beach with Balinese cultural presentation.

Coastal setting

The beach is part of the south-facing limestone coast of Badung. Cliffs, reef, caves and offshore water define the landscape, while tides change the visible sand and rock.
