Karang Boma Cliff is a high limestone viewpoint near Pecatu in the Uluwatu area of southern Bali. The cliff faces the Indian Ocean and forms part of the rugged western coastline of the Bukit Peninsula.
What you find there
Visitors find an open cliff-top area, ocean views, rocky coastal edges and a wide perspective along the southern shore. The landward side consists of low vegetation and paths, while the seaward side drops toward the water and reef below.
Landscape
The cliff is part of the same uplifted limestone formation that shapes the beaches, caves and headlands around Uluwatu. Wave erosion has created the steep coastal edge and the broken rock forms visible from the viewpoint.
Visiting
Visitors should remain on established paths and keep away from unprotected cliff edges. Public map sources locate Karang Boma Cliff on Jalan Batu Lesung in Pecatu, Kuta Selatan, Badung.
