Jemeluk Beach

Jemeluk Beach is a coastal bay in the Amed area of Abang, Karangasem, on Bali’s northeast coast. The shoreline faces the Bali Sea and is part of a chain of fishing villages and bays around Amed.

What you find there

Visitors find dark volcanic sand, traditional jukung boats, reef areas and coastal paths. The bay is connected with snorkelling and diving sites, while the inland side contains village roads, homes and small coastal businesses.

Coastal setting

Jemeluk is part of eastern Bali’s volcanic coastline, with Mount Agung rising inland and coral reefs extending offshore. Fishing and marine activities remain part of the local coastal landscape.
